TALLUMINOUS was designed by Mick Biersach.  He loves to work with wood and look into the wood to enjoy each and every grain.  A good sanding and a fine finish brings out the fine grain.

TALLUMINOUS was designed to use an energy efficient light source to emphasize the wood grain.  Talluminous uses non illuminated wood and various shades of illumination to show the beauty of the wood.  From a distance the illuminated wood seems translucent.  The wood seems to shine from the light behind it.

TALLUMINOUS is made from over 150 pieces of solid wood.  Each shade is made from one piece of wood cut so the grain continues around the shade.

Most popular woods are maple and cherry.  Custom or exotic woods or custom stains are available upon request.

Each TALLUMINOUS is made to order for the individual.
